As the demand for clean portable restrooms became more evident our efforts became more focused. Johnny on the Spot (JOTS) was the first to provide fiberglass portable toilets in New Jersey. Since the seventies the material of choice has moved to plastic. Plastic's durability and resistance to moisture absorption has just about rendered other materials obsolete. Johnny on the Spot again, was among the first in New Jersey to provide this improved equipment. It was back then, in the mid seventies when the JOTS service and equipment pulled ahead of the competition.

The simplicity of excellent service occurred to us early and remains the focus here today. Portable toilet service is a relatively "inexpensive" component of most construction projects and outdoor events. For a negligible cost differential we have been able to provide a superior level of service. The price difference between the worst and the best portable toilet service on the New Jersey construction site is usually less than 20 cents per day! There frequently is no price difference to order JOTS service for short term rentals.

Decision makers who see the units and appreciate excellent service make up our customer list. Units delivered on price alone are not likely to be ours, however, we are the best value in the state.

In the early 1990's JOTS developed the VIP level of service. We were the exclusive provider of "Celebrity" type units for an entire season. By the end of the next season most toilet companies in the entire country had copied the service! A couple of years later we were the first again in New Jersey to provide Portable Water Systems for fresh water flushing and hand washing on construction sites.

We have also kept up with the demand for other specialty equipment which now includes Luxury Trailers, ADA compliant units, High Rise units and Flushing units for office trailers.

Johnny on the Spot has also developed a set of specifications for service vehicles which are regularly used by other firms around the country. In April of 1999 we completed building one of the most state of the art advanced Portable Sanitation facilities that we are aware of in the world! Our facility is specifically designed for efficient portable toilet operations. Even though the facility is completed, we are continuing to make improvements as we learn new and innovative ideas and techniques. It is this commitment to service which sets us apart from other providers.

Loyal customers, innovative equipment, state of the art facility, and value added pricing does not add up to success without quality personnel.

Our tenured staff experiences little turnover. Virtually all of the firm's decision makers are here over ten years.
